Project: Upgrade to LED Lighting
School: Downshall Primary School (IG3)
After submitting a bid to upgrade their lighting to LED, Downshall School received a late grant approval. The work needed to be surveyed, quoted and delivered in a very tight timeframe. It was important to minimise any time the facility would be unusable, as it was available for public hire and the school would be losing out financially while it was out of action. As with any brief, the school was keen to keep the costs down.
- Tight Timeframe For Quotes
- Financial Constraints
- Small Window for Completion
We have extensive contacts with suppliers who specialise in LED lighting. The priority here was to supply the school with a company who was available immediately and could complete the works. The supplier was able to add a larger number of engineers to the project to reduce the timeframe. Our team had the perfect supplier lined up – not only were they available but we have the added peace of mind having worked with them on 40 projects previously. Typically they would have been reticent to engage with a new client on such a tight timeframe, but their experience of working with us allayed their fears.
- Experienced Supplier Used
- Extra Engineers Assigned
- Timeframe Met
The school was delighted with the final results of the project. Not only was the work completed to an exceptionally high standard but crucially the downtime for the publicly used facility was minimised resulting in minimal lost revenues.
- Project Delivered On Time
- Minimal Revenues Sacrificed
- High-Standard Finish
